CEBU PACIFIC and CARGOHAUS partnership to become bigger in Clark

Year:
2012

The Philippines' largest national flag carrier Cebu Pacific Air (PSE:CEB) further boosts its cargo operations out of Clark, Pamapanga in Northern Luzon, through the modernization of its cargo partner since 2007, Cargohaus, Inc.

Cargohaus, Inc. will renovate its facilities and install state-of-the-art security equipment in the 2nd half of 2012. It is set to become the most modern cargo warehouse facility in the heart of Central and Northern Luzon. Its warehouse facility can currently accommodate up to 2,000 tons of air cargo, equivalent to the capacity of 20 wide-bodied cargo aircraft. Strategically situated closest to the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport (DMIA) terminal, Cargohaus, Inc. provides the fastest and most efficient transfers of CEB shipments between the warehouse and the CEB aircraft.

CEB flies from Clark to Hong Kong and Singapore daily, to Macau thrice weekly, to Bangkok twice weekly, and to Cebu thrice weekly. "Cebu Pacific's extensive network allows the fastest transport of cargo to their destinations. Our cargo operations out of Clark present a lot of trade and business opportunities for Northern Luzon," said VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

She cited as an example CEB's Clark-Hong Kong flight's early 7:00am departure, which allows cargo forwarders the fastest means of transporting goods to Hong Kong or into China. The evening departures for CEB's flights to Singapore, Macau and Bangkok also allow factories to transport their products at the close of the work day.

CEB and Cargohaus, Inc. operate out of the 2,500-hectare DMIA, which provides easy access through enhanced road networks and close proximity to manufacturers and factories.

For bookings and details, go to www.cebupacificaircargo.com or www.cargohaus.com. CEB currently operated 10 Airbus A319, 20 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. Its fleet of 38 aircraft - with an average age of 3.6 years - is one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world. Between 2012 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of 22 more Airbus A320 and 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft orders.
